Do you ever just get that feeling that your copying someones animation style when you re watch your animation? I do often and it makes me feel a bit discuraged.

aaallllllll the time, but I also felt that way about playing music when I was like 13-14. Now i'm 21 and i'm still playing music in bands and I feel confident I'm doing my own thing
I think it's a time thing. The more you do it, the more likely it is that you'll find your voice in whatever you're doing. you'll create, improve, recreate, and just cycle through that over and over til you're happy with what you have ("practice" ugh that word). i hope that helped any or cleared up anything in your head ◕3◕
